Gallagher continues to be the beating heart and soul of this team, and if we could just play Villa and Crystal Palace every time, he’d also have a ton of goals. That’s now two each against those two, and two against everyone else. Still, that’s six for the season and just two off his career high that he established while on loan at Palace.
Gotta get that contract done this summer!
2. MOISÉS CAICEDO (7.7)
We’ve invested heavily in making Enzo and Moi our midfield of the forever future, but things have looked quite good of late with Caicedo and Gallagher together instead. Hmm...
3. NONI MADUEKE (7.1)
There’s probably a really good player in Madueke, which Madueke himself very much believes is already here ... but in all actually isn’t quite yet. But hey, at least we don’t have to worry about confidence. Just need to get that head and that APM up a bit.
